Physical 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame with advanced strength. Right-handed hitter hits from a balanced, athletic setup starting slightly open and using a controlled leg lift to work back to even. Low effort swing with easy bat speed, really commands the barrel with strength through contact, generating an exit velocity of 97 mph. Athletic defender with an aggressive approach, charges hard with sure handed technique and clean actions into a high-¾ release producing a positional velocity of 87 mph from right field. Advanced run tool, turned in a 6.69 second 60-yard dash. Had a nice summer capped off by a strong performance at the Future Games. Tools showed up in game as he was a catalyst all week for the Louisiana club.

As a hitter, Stelly has really worked on honing in on his approach at the plate this summer, as we’ve seen him really start to consistently barrel up baseballs.

Starts in an open tall stance with a small load, then uses a short stride right before his swing. Showed a flat swing plane and level finish. Line drive approach. He performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.7.

Showed solid, fluid outfield actions with clean exchanges, into a high-3/4 release posting a positional velocity of 79 mph. Turned in a 7.20 60-yard dash.
