Oklahoma St Commit. 6 foot 2, 215 pounds with an almost stocky, durable starters build. Simple medium paced delivery from an OH slot w/ very good direction. Flashes elite level college stuff now. Able to maintain velo w/ no sacrifice of command. Efficient lower half, very well sequenced. Power stuff, FB 92-93 T94 jumps out of hand w/ ride. advanced feel for SL 80-82, swing & miss 2 planer late bite w/ depth. CB 76-78 solid shape. CH developing has some run.
Underclass Games
Oklahoma State commit. 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed two-way prospect, wide, physical frame, strength throughout, one of the top right-handed pitchers in the state. On the mound, arm works short and quick out of a high ¾ slot, whippy hand speed, repeats well. Heavy drop and drive delivery, gets into his strong lower half and glides down the mound, works on-line, lands square, finishes upright. Fastball sat 86-88, some run and sink. Curveball and slider shower similar shapes, 11/5, curveball had more depth to it while slider was a tighter pitch, 66-68. Changeup, fade action. Feel for all four pitches, able to locate in the zone and get swing and misses with. Ran a 7.51 laser-timed 60. Offensively, balanced low hands, smooth load back, short stride, good balance through finish. Takes a power approach at the plate, swing works level through the zone, generates hard contact to all fields, produces back spin on fly balls, 92 exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, has a big arm from the outfield, advanced arm speed out of a high ¾ slot, throws carry and are accurate, clocked at 93 mph from the outfield.
Projectable 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, big, strong frame with even more to come. Arm works short, loose, and clean out of a high ¾ slot with whippy hand speed, ultra quick arm speed. An overall powerful pitcher, uses the strength in his legs well in a drop and drive delivery. Controls the zone with a fastball and curveball combination. Fastball sat 86-88, touched 89, gets downhill with his fastball and an located around the zone. Curveball, swing and miss type pitch, 11/5 shape, has bite and is hard to recognize out of the hand, buckled a number of knees in his outing against Denmark. Also offered up a straight changeup at 75-77. High follow arm.
