Lanier

Adrian Jimenez, IF, Lanier, 2024
Uncommitted. The 5 foot 10, 185 pounder has a strong, compact build w/ broad shoulders. One of the most advanced bats in the ‘24 class held his own against Dylan Lesko’s FB this spring, hitting a rocket double in the left center gap. Repeats his swing like a machine w/ rare bat speed & strength in hands. Quiet and simple. Hips 25% back, 75% forward. Lower half dominant separation which keeps upper half closer to square as he stretches short chest load. Linear hitter as opposed to rotational, which aids his barrel in a lengthy stay in thru the hitting zone. Smooth trigger in & out of launch position. Steadily improving as a defender, should end up A/AVG runner.
