Has added strength in a long lean frame. Plays well at third, but the bat really plays. Efficient, and uses strength well. Simple, on time with leverage and power, especially to the pull side. Also showed an above average feel to hit.
10/12/18 - Florida Southern commit. 6-foot-4, 215-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Offensively he continues to show a high ceiling. He works with a leg kick trigger and his long and lanky frame creates natural loft and leverage. Had a few tough left on left matchups in gameplay, but recorded a single and showed both power and hit potential.
07/28/18- Florida Southern recruit. The 6-foot-3, 208 pound 3B/1B has continued to fill out and has been on the upward trend throughout the summer. Defensively, the hands and feet work in sync and move well, especially for his size. The bat has made some huge strides and the added strength in the frame has translated to present power. Standing tall and confident in the the box. He works with a big leg kick, loose hands and works out over the front foot. He can get steep at times, but as he continues to learn to use his long levers, balanced and compact through extension, there is big power potential as the exit velocity was 97 mph. There is present offensively ability and on a current upward trend, there is high offensive upside.
03/16/18- XL frame, lean with present strength. The left handed-hitter was 2-3 with an RBI. The swing works, compact for the XL frame. Turns the barrel and some natural loft. The bat projects as power corner bat and should be a high, uncommitted follow.
11/7/15- 5-foot-8, 130 pounds with a young, lean and athletic body. In the field he soft hands but needs to work on coming through the ball without stopping. He threw 66 mph across the diamond with a high 3/4 arm slot. At the plate he has a good base and good rhythm. Gets a separation for his load and has an easy swing with a nice plane through the zone. Ran an 8.86 in the 60. His tools will improve with strength and maturity.
Loose arm at a sidearm arm slot. Fastball was 67-69 mph with a lot of run. Curveball was a short breaking slurve at 61-64 mph. The changeup had sink and run at 57-61 mph. Tough angle against right handed hitters. Gets gathered over the rubber with good extension out front. Changes arm slots.
