05/29/16- South Carolina recruit. Currently ranked No. 12 in the Florida 2016 class, No. 57 overall. Thick, strong, stocky build on a 5-foot-9, 185 pound frame. Displayed some good actions and an accurate arm in the outfield. Advanced approach at the plate with good hand eye. Takes smart at-bats and works the counts into his favor. Good strike zone awareness and fouls off tough pitches. Short, compact swing with a quick bat that has the ability to consistently square the ball up and drive the ball deep into the gaps. Showed some real power potential when he took numerous balls over the right field wall and a couple over the wall to straightaway center during batting practice. Ball jumps off the bat.

6/19/15 - South Carolina commit. 5-foot-8, 185 pound outfielder with a stocky strong body. Has good actions in the outfield with a solid average ML arm and good instincts. Ran a 7.27 60 and has average type range. Bat is his best tool. Advanced approach with very good hand eye. Stays inside ball well. Aggressive but patient approach. Doesn’t chase. Works counts. Very good plate discipline. Very confident hitter with above average power. Good bat speed with a good path and some loft in swing. Left handed impact bat at a corner outfield position. Could become a 2016 draft.

3/5/15 - South Carolina commit. 5-foot-8, 185 pound outfielder with a stocky athletic strong body. Similar to Brian Giles. Explosive bat with excellent hand eye. Short compact stroke with loft. Stays inside ball and hits with authority to all fields. Doesn’t swing and miss much. Extremely confident hitter. Very advanced approach. One of the top bats in his class. Will be a plus ML bat. Good actions in the OF with an avg ML arm. Avg ML runner at best but has very good instincts. Is ambidextrous. Can play 2B right handed and outfield left handed. Should be a good 2016 draft. 3-7, 2 RBI’s in 2 game series.

1/10/15 Scorpions tryout - Slender frame with good overall athleticism. Strong hands and wrists. Good hit approach. Fluid, quick, line drive stroke. He drove the ball to right and left centerfield with doubles type power. Has good defensive actions up the middle. Moves well laterally. Loose arm with enough carry to play position.

 
10/30/14  Stocky strong compact body on a smaller sized frame. Short compact quick stroke with very good bat speed. Very good hitters hands with a good path. Excellent hand eye with aggressive approach. Some loft in swing. Generates a lot of LH power with some loft in his swing. Can stay inside ball and drive ball to both gaps. Very confident in the box. Bat is best tool with above avg ML power. I saw him at 2B. Decent actions with enough arm and limited range. Ran a 7.2, 60. Could also play 3B or OF or some would even like to see him behind the plate.
