Glen Allen Jaguars:

Seth Brooks RHP / RHP / Glen Allen, VA / 2022

Brooks came on for one inning of work in Monday's game. The Brunswick CC commit has a short arm swing, works from a three-quarter arm slot, and displayed some pretty easy arm strength on the mound. Lands slightly closed and works around a soft front leg. After walking the first hitter the fastball got in the zone and sat in the 85-88 mph range. The last few feet on the fastball seemed to have a little extra through the zone. The breaking ball sat at 72-74 mph with above average spin and 11/5 shape.

Ethan Hudson RHP / 3B / Glen Allen, VA / 2022

The Randolph-Macon commit got the start for Glen Allen and worked five strong innings. During Hudson's five innings he allowed only one hit and one unearned run while striking out eight. Hudson was able to work around some scattered control, walking six batters during his five innings of work. The fastball sat 85-86 mph early and settled in at 82-84 mph and touching 85 later into his outing. He seemed to be pulling around the fastball and missing to the glove side for the majority of the misses. The breaking ball sat at 68-70 mph with bigger shape and tended to back up out of the hand early in the game. As he got deeper into his start, Hudson showed a better feel for the zone and his mainly fastball-curveball mix. The fastball showed some swingback to the glove side and he flashed the ability to add and subtract velo as needed.

Christopher Johnson 1B / RHP / Glen Allen, VA / 2023

5-foot-10, 210-pound strong athletic frame. Slightly open, wider stance, and hands load back to separation. Strides on line, attacks contact out front, and shows advanced bat speed through the zone. Johnson did a really nice job of turning the barrel and accelerating through contact. Present power to the pullside and has previously shown the ability to affect a game with his power to all parts of the field.

Cameron Slough C / 3B / Glen Allen, VA / 2023

Solid 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame. At the plate Slough's hands loaded up and to separation with a slight wrap. Longer path to contact, barrel stayed in the zone, and displayed some adjustability to spin. Went oppo for a triple in his first at bat and then in his third at bat he pulled the hands in sending a breaking ball into medium left center for a single. Slough had two RBI's on the night and will have a chance to drive in a lot of runs in the middle of the Glen Allen order. Behind the plate Slough has a quick clean exchange and short arm action. Had one in game pop of 2.09 early on in Monday night's game.

Andrew Harris RHP / 3B / Glen Allen, VA / 2023

Long 6-foot-3 frame with room to fill. Harris hits from an upright stance, narrower base, and flat path to contact. Contact happened out front and showed some pull side tendency in his at bats. Harris could benefit from getting into the legs a little bit more and utilizing some of the lean strength he possesses in his frame. 4.75 on the turn. Defensively Harris is a rangy defender with corner-corner profile and above average arm strength across the infield.

Jackson Toole 3B / OF / Glen Allen, VA / 2025

5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame. Square stance, hands set low before loading up to separation, and small leg lift to stride. Barrel is quick in and out of the zone and shows middle-pull side tendency. Put down a bunt for a hit attempt where he turned out a 4.12 home to first time. Had a RBI single in his final at bat of the night where he hit a hard groundball back through the middle.
