Over the next few weeks we we will be counting down the 2017 caldendar year with a look at the top ten viewed profiles of 2017. After combing through our google analytics, we have compiled a list of the ten most visited profiles, by you, the readers, in 2017.
Starting things off at No. 10 in the coutndown is 2017 PBR Wisconsin Player of the Year RHP Ryan Hoerter (Indian Trail). Ranked No.1 in Wisconsin's Class of 2017 and No. 110 Overall, Hoerter was lights out this past spring for Indian Trail, cultivating a 6-1 record, 0.36 ERA in 57.2 innnings pitched. Amazingly Hoerter allowed only 23 hits and 14 walks while striking out 96. Drafted in the 36th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates, Hoerter honored his committment to Auburn. His profile saw over 3,300 views, with the most views coming on June 14th, the day he was drafted.

6/14/17 - Drafted in the 36th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
6/1/17 - Auburn commit. 6-foot-6, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. Hoerter dominated in his outing like he has all spring. Still receiving draft interest. Came out working 88-91 touching 92 mph in the first inning. Pounds the bottom of the zone. Settled in at 87-89 mph, still touched 90 mph in the sixth inning. Curveball got batter as the game progressed, has 11-5 shape with depth and late breaking action, showed true swing and miss potential in game. Only two balls were hit in the air all game, consistently inducing weak ground ball contact. Worked 6.2 innings allowing just four hits, no earned runs, two walks, and struck out 14.
