Jumping up to the No. 2 spot, RHP Ryan Hoerter (Indian Trail) continues to get closer to his ceiling, at 6-foot-6, 185-pounds he’s super projectable and fastball continues to sit in the upper 80’s. He’s strung together several good outing this fall and looks primed to carry that over into the spring season.

Moving down the rankings we’ve seen several notable impacts from our fall events. Left-handed hitting INF/OF Peter Ahn (Marquette University) impressed the Michigan State staff enough at the GPA Games to make a commitment to the Spartans earlier this fall. Moving into the top 20, Ahn is a speedy left-handed hitter who handles the bat well and could translate that speed into a lock down centerfielder.

RHP Jonathan Dominguez (Catholic Memorial) rocketed up the rankings with an impressive performance on the mound at the Senior Games. Dominguez sat 86-87 mph with a hard biting curveball at 76-79 mph, a true swing and miss offering.

The Senior Games also proved well for Kimberly OF Zach Carney. Carney jumped over 30 spots into the top 40. He’s a physical 6-foot-2, 185-pound outfielder who flashed a power bat, above average speed, and a strong outfield arm and also recently committed to Wabash Valley JC.

Throughout the week we will take a look at several newcomers to the rankings, as we’ve expanded to 150, as well as some of the top rising prospects.
