PRESEASON ALL STATE GAMES QUICK HITS
GREELEY, CO-- April 11, 2021 PBR Colorado finally held the Colorado Preseason All State Games after having to postpone due to 27 inches of snow on our original date. The event was worth the wait. This event was open to all classifications. Colorado’s 2021’s - 2024s had an opportunity to put their name on the radar for collegiate recruiting, create or update a PBR profile. Our morning session contained full evaluations of position players and the afternoon highlighted our pitchers in a live games. Top Players from this event will have opportunities to be invited to future invite-only events such as the PBR Future and Junior Future Games and our new PBR West Coast Games.
Today, we focus on 2023 Pitchers from our Preseason Event. High ceilings for these Top 2023 Pitchers.
2023, Mason Bright, RHP/OF, Severance. At 6’2” 205, Mason has broad strong build. Demonstrated a FB in the 85-88 range. Have seen up to 90. Great ASR with high ¾ release. SL works well off of release point. SL 72-74 with late break. Continues to show gradual growth in velo and pitch development. High Ceiling Currently, ranked 14th in Colorado 2023 Class

Power: Gap-to-gap approach, will use the whole field to hit for average.
Arm: OF, 89 from the outfield, long, athletic arm action.
Defense: Does a good job attacking the ball with strong footwork, soft hands when fielding, does a good job using his legs to create arm strength.
