Hotschall is strong with broad shoulders and has developed to a repeatable delivery with great tempo and attack. He has slight hip rotation and dip/drive. The right-hander creates good leverage with front side and an over the top release. Fastball sat 85-89 and he uses both sides of plate. ++ Slider at 75-77, two plane with late break. Hunter continues to improve and does not show signs of slowing down. High ceiling 2023 in the state of Colorado.

High, controlled leg lift with coil and he does a good job hinging his back hip to create velocity, finishing closed. Quick, whippy arm action and the Yard Dawgs product does a good job attacking all pitches. Fastball has been up to 87. Curveball 66-68 and slider 73-75. Projectable arm! Top 2023 pitcher to follow. We have seen advances in his game as he continues to grow and develop.
