Our final series of 2018 fall All-Star Games will take place this Sunday on campus at SUNY Cortland. The morning session will kick off at 9am (8:15am check-in) with a traditional showcase until 10:30am. A live scrimmage game will run roughly from 10:30am-12:30pm.

The afternoon session will a 12:45 start (12noon check-in) with the showcase running to about 2pm. Structured scrimmage will run roughly 2:15-4:15pm.

Outfielders

Jackson Sattinger LHP / OF / Paul D. Schreiber, NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 118 / POS: 7 OF/LHP that is on the upward trend. Displayed some projectable tools both on the mound and in the outfield back in February. Switch hitter; 79 from the OF and worked 76-77 from the mound. 6-foot-0 160 frame leaves room for physical gains.

 

 

Alex Morrissey LHP / OF / Suffern , NY / 2020 First time attendee who bats right-handed and throws lefty. The 5-foot-11 165 pound junior also plays for the Rockland Royals.

 

 

Isaiah Logan OF / 1B / Canajoharie, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 196 / POS: 26 Consistent barrell contact; has shown some pop through the spring season and this summer at various events. Corner OF, 1B projection. Offensive game is really on the rise.

 

 

Aidan Wallace OF / 1B / Clarence, NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 148 / POS: 29 Athletic 6-foot-0 180 pound right-handed hitter with a spread stance, quick bat through the zone. Respectable numbers across the board for a mid February event. Looking forward to seeing him again.

 

 

Owen Glahn C / OF / Ithaca, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 337 / POS: 50 Well put together 5-foot-11 182 pound C/OF. We last saw about a year ago; showed long, loose arm action from the OF and a repeatable line drive swing.

 

 

Zack Odum OF / C / Elmira, NY / 2020 Solid effort back in July at St. Bonaventure. Spread stance; stays in the zone. Wiry 5-foot-10 156 pound frame that will get a lot stronger.

 

 

Ryan Peters RHP / 3B / Watertown, NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 176 / POS: 42 Physical 6-foot-2 175 pound frame OF/RHP that hails from the North Country. Was 77-79 off the mound back in July; deep, spread stance with some lift through the zone. Active feet around 3B. Intriguing player that we're excited to see again.

 

 

Chris Bonacci OF / SS / West Genesee , NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 116 / POS: 25 Slight build at 5-foot-8 135 pounds; quiet, line drive stroke from the left-side. Showed some foot speed with a 7.08 60 and 4.03 home-to-1B and an easy 83 MPH from the OF.

 

 

Shawn Chermak OF / RHP / Vestal , NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 166 / POS: 24 Projects well on the mound with a live arm; consistently in the low 80's through the spring HS season with a low 3/4 slot. Wiry 6-foot-0 160 pound right handed hitter with some length in the swing. Accurate arm with carry from the OF.

 

 

Nick Ciaschi OF / SS / Lansing, NY / 2020 First time attendee from nearby Lansing HS. The 5-foot-9 right-handed hitter also plays for the Cayuga Lakers.

 

 

Dominick Porto OF / RHP / Penfield, NY / 2021 Recently attended the WNY ASG; balanced stance with repeatable swing path. Accurate arm from the outfield. Strong skill set for the 2021 grad that will only get better.

 

 

Ryan Stewart OF / LHP / Auburn , NY / 2021 First time attendee from nearby Auburn HS. The 5-foot-8 155 pound switch hitter also plays for the Syracuse Jr. Chiefs.

 

 

Jaime C. Padilla OF / C / Archbishop Stepinac, NY / 2022 Strong 5-foot-7 170 pound right-handed hitter. Had an impressive performance at the Junior Future Games in Indiana tracking several balls down in the outfield. Makes solid, hard contact with line drive results.
