We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2020 Scout Day: Massachusetts Hurricanes. This was a great opportunity for 2021 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2020 Scout Day: Massachusetts Hurricanes - Quick Hits

BATS

• Justice Ciampa, aggressive approach with the barrel. 
• Nate Baacke, big and left-handed with plenty of potential.
• Jack Cropper, excellent looking young prospect with the bat and on the bump.
• Colby Decouta, showed well with the bat at the event. 
• Matthew Donahue, aggressive hand speed with a chance to hit for power down the road.
• Owen Lane, good looking young player. 
• Shawn Legere, athletic right-handed hitter with a solid skill set.
• Gabriel Malaret, 2025 athlete with good hand speed at the dish.
• Matthew McMahon, solid skill set and showed well at the event.
• Joshua Mykytiw, took a solid batting practice and showed good potential.
• Sean O’Leary, left-handed hitter with serious juice at the dish.

ARMS

• Jimmy Chadwick, left-handed pitcher with a good arm and a solid spin pitch.
• Jack Cropper, up to 85 with a quick arm and the makings of a slurve pitch.
• Justice Ciampa, aggressive reliever type with good stuff.
• Seamus Marshall, left-handed pitcher with a good feel for all 3 pitches. 
• Gabriel Malaret, 2025 arm with serious projection on the mound.

RUNNERS

• Jason Soares, ran a 6.87 at the event.
• Michael Govoni, ran a 6.59 at the event. 
• Shawn Legere, ran a 6.94 at the event. 
• Tyler Prescott, ran a 6.9 sixty at the event. 
• Mike Malatesta, ran a 6.99 sixty at the event.
