Defense: (IF) Soft hands, smooth rhythmic footwork, natural exchange. Solid. Laterally, movements were raw and fielded the ball out front.
Arm: 68 mph infield velocity. Short arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
5-foot-6, 140-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder. He ran a 6.9 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is online and athletic. The glove is soft and he is in the process of smoothing out his prep steps to the ball. He threw 72 mph across the diamond to first base. The bat has an exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a toe tap as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands drop slightly as the swing is initiated. The path is uphill to contact, with the hands working freely.
