Hits from a taller, athletic set-up with a simple load and stride to get into the hitting position. Uses his long and lean frame to create leverage. Flat bat path with good extension throughout the swing that allowed him to consistently square up balls using the middle of the field. Max exit velocity of 79 mph. Athletic actions in the infield, soft hands, clean exchanges, with no wasted movement in getting rid of the baseball. Carter Bankert SS / RHP / Dutchtown , LA / 2024Athletic and lean, 5’8” 120 lbs. frame that has plenty of room to add strength. Hits from a balanced and athletic set-up bringing his hands from low to high as he uses a toe-tap load. Came out of his lower half at times during his BP round. Bat path worked uphill through the baseball with good extension that produced a max exit velocity of 70 mph. Average footwork, soft hands, with clean exchanges in the infield releasing the ball from a ¾ arm slot that resulted in a 68 mph positional velocity. Ran an 8.47 in the 60. |
Kasen Bellard SS / RHP / Barbe , LA / 2024Athletic and physical 5’11” 155 lbs. frame that should continue to fill out as he matures. Really good athlete that posted a 7.16 in the 60. Hits from a slightly wide, balanced stance with some weight pre-loaded in his back leg. Simple, up and down load that allows him to repeat his swing. Does a really good job of engaging his lower half in the swing. Hands sit shoulder high, flat bat path throughout the swing, consistently squared up balls during BP round showing present gap to gap power that resulted in a max exit velocity of 82 mph. Soft hands, athletic actions, releasing the ball from a low ¾ arm slot that produced a positional velocity of 80 mph. During game portion showed the ability to play multiple positions in the infield and played them all at a high level. |

Begins in a tall, athletic stance, hands held high, using a leg kick to get into the hitting position. Contact hitter for now, really using his hands to stay inside the baseball. Wes Carr SS / 2B / Mandeville, LA / 20245’10” 155 lbs. frame that will continue to add strength as he matures. High motor type of player that was all over the field at the All-State Games. Posted a 7.12 in the 60. Hits from an open, athletic stance using a “knee to knee” leg kick to get into the hitting position with his bat head rested on the top of his back shoulder, bringing it up before getting his swing off. Direct bat path to the baseball, used the middle of the field well during the BP portion of the day that resulted in a 79 mph exit velocity. Wyatt Chenevert LHP / OF / Catholic (BR), LA / 2024Long, lean 5’10” 130 lbs. frame with room to add strength. The LHH starts in a tall, open stance, using a toe-tap load to get back to center. Worked a lot of balls to the pull side in his BP round that produced a max exit velocity of 71 mph. Athletic 5’8” 150 lbs. frame with room to add strength. The 2021 University of Louisiana signee got behind the plate as a catcher for the first time in five years at the Louisiana All-State Games. Came out of his stance slightly early, but showed excellent footwork, quick exchanges and a plus arm that produced an event best 83 mph positional velocity and a 1.76-1.85 pop time. Quality receiver and blocker, as he threw out a would be base stealer during the game portion on a block and recover situation. The RHH hit from an athletic, slightly open stance, using a simple up and down load to get his swing off. Uphill bat path, showed present pull side power that produced a 94 mph exit velocity. As an infielder, showed soft hands, advanced footwork, and a plus arm that produced a 92 mph positional velocity across the diamond. A really good runner as well, as he posted a 6.70 in the 60.

Projects well on the mound as well with a clean, repeatable delivery, releasing the baseball from a high ¾ arm slot. FB sat 88-91 mph, topping out at 92 mph, with late, riding life through the zone. Average spin rate on FB was 2234 RMP. CB was best secondary pitch, showing the ability to land it for strikes and put hitters away with 2 strikes. Near “12-6” in shape, the CB sat 75-76 mph. Advanced feel for his 81-82 mph straight CH with the same arm action as his FB. |

Repeatable swing. Stays balanced throughout the swing. Consistently squared up balls back through the middle of the field that produced a max exit velocity of 86 mph. Athletic actions in the infield. Good first step off the bat, active feet to get on the right side of the baseball, played through everything, releasing the ball into a ¾” arm slot that produced a positional velocity of 71 mph. Throws were accurate to 1B. Ran a 7.22 in the 60. |
Caleb Webb C / 3B / Walker, LA / 2022Physical and sturdy 5’10” 185 lbs. frame. The C from Walker HS is another riser in the 2022 class. RHH hits from an athletic stance with rhythm in his hands, using an almost knee to knee load to get into his hitting position. Used his lower half extremely well during BP showing present pull side power, as he consistently made hard contact throughout the round that resulted in a 95 mph exit velocity. Excellent receiver with strong hands, developing footwork, and improved arm strength that produced accurate throws to second base with a positional velocity of 75 mph and 1.90-2.02 pop times. Also threw 84 mph across the infield and posted a 7.42 in the 60. |

Physical 6’0” 160 lbs. frame that has room to add strength. Hits from a tall, balanced stance, using a simple load and stride to get back to center. Came out of his back leg at times during his BP round. Slightly uphill bat path through the baseball that resulted in a max exit velocity of 87 mph. Defensively, showed average footwork, soft hands, with a short and quick arm action, releasing the ball from a high ¾ arm slot. Posted an 85 mph positional velocity. On the mound, primarily got ahead of hitters by pounding the zone with his 81-82 mph FB, topping out at 83 mph. Above average spin rate on the FB at 2100 RPM. “10-4” shaped CB that he landed for strikes at 71-72 mph. Flashed an above average CH as well at 73-76 mph. |
