The former Future Gamer and University of Louisiana-Lafayette recruit had a heck of a game last week against district-rival Sam Houston, which was one of our featured Games of the Week for Week 4. We last saw Bellard in Week 1, where he was utilizing a bigger leg-kick and last Thursday, it was evident that he's toned down the load to more of a simple "knee to knee" look, and it seems to be paying dividends. In his first at-bat, he jumped all over a 90 mph heater for a double down the LF line and came around to score to put the Bucs up 1-0. He then collected two more singles in his next two at-bats to finish the game 3-4 with 2 RBI and 2 R out of the leadoff spot.
