PITCHERS
2019 RHP Seth Tomczak, Argonaut HS
Arizona State commit is one of Northern California's top prep arms, he was up to 91 mph. Not a secret in the region, scouts are keeping tabs of his pitchability and develoment of secondary pitches.
2019 RHP/OF Devereaux Harrison, Vacaville HS
Long Beach State commit, Harrison is an athletic outfielder and has been coming on as a pitcher; was up to 89 in the tourney while also showing off his bat potential and energetic style of play.
2020 LHP Kirk Vasquez, Westmont HS
University of Pacific commit, Vasquez is also a standout outfielder. However, it's his feel of a tailing fastball up to 85 mph and ability to get weak contact that stands out. Pounds inside to RHH well too.
2019 RHP Jackson Torsey, Foothill HS (Redding)
Big durable 6-foot-2 200-pound body on Torsey, topped out at 88 mph and showed off a sharp breaking ball. Ability to pitch on both sides of the plate stood out.
2020 RHP Cole Carrigg, Turlock HS
Athlete on the mound, the 6-foot-1 170-pound Carrigg has arm speed that happens easily. Highly competitive, fastball up to 86, also mixed in tight slider and also helps his own cause on defense.
2019 LHP/OF Josiah Granados, St. Francis HS (Watsonville)
Athletic pitcher also looked good as a hitter and outfielder, but it was the fastball up to 84 mph and usability of the change-up that really stood out, as well as a sweeping breaking ball.
2019 LHP Gabriel Razo, Palma HS
Thick and strong body on this 6-foot-1 190-pound left-hander, he was up to 85 mph and sat in the 82-84 mph range. Located well to both sides and mixed in a sharp curveball. Pitched with good tempo.
2019 RHP Cole Chimenti, California HS
Lean and athletically built, Chimenti showed the kind of live arm and athletic body type that is easily projectable, given his top fastball of 85 mph, slider tilt and late bite, and feel of a good change-up.
2020 RHP Jonathon Sarmiento, Kimble HS
Standing at 6-foot-4 and 190-pounds, Sarmiento was the standout 2020 pitcher. Fastball topped at 88 mph, consistently 86 with good tilt. Smooth arm action, repeatable delivery and a sharp breaking.
2020 RHP Aiden Lee, Monte Vista Christian HS
At 6-foot-3 200-pounds he looks the part and then with a sinking fastball that reached up to 85 mph from a 3/4 slot with deception and easy delivery, he's got stuff too. Frisbee type slider in any count.
2019 RHP Eric Reyzelman, De La Salle HS
Built well at 6-foot-1 175-pounds, Reyzelman topped at 84 mph and sat comfortably around that velocity. Good tempo pitcher, showed feel for breaking ball in any count, for strikes and for outs.
2019 RHP Cooper Petty, Amador Valley HS
Good frame on Petty, he showed an attacking style of pitching that always is fun to watch. Fastball up to 84 mph along with pitchability to both sides of the plate. Used a mid-70s slider as his out-pitch
CATCHERS
2019 Jacob Burley, San Benito HS
Long and lean body, good agility and good energy for the position. Excellent effort and good technique to block, projectable arm and release, bat showed well, with whole field approach.
2019 Jaime Garcia, San Leandro HS
Athletic body type and athletic player, Garcia showed off good footwork behind the plate and a quick release, with pop times consistently below 2.0. Athlete who can also play in the middle of the field.
2019 Adam Chadwick Vacaville HS
Chadwick is put together quite well, with strength and athletic proportions. Arm is strong, did a good receiving as well. Footwork is also a strong attribute. Physical hitter with good gap to gap approach.
2019 Trevor Hagmann, Santa Teresa HS
Durable catcher body, Hagmann has good baseball skill and talent and even better set of intangibles for the position. Good barrel awareness as hitter and he's strong. Blocks and receives well.
