All State Games Roster Preview: PBR White

The All-State Games are start Saturday, October 22nd and 23rd at Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University. This event will feature players competing on 6 different teams. Players were invited to compete in this event from all corners of the state. We are excited about the talent pool pf players this premiere event has drawn.
PBR White will be one of 4 teams to compete in the first games of the event, below you will find a preview of their roster.
Unsigned Seniors
Caleb Grace, C/3B, Har-Ber HS
Grace is a 5-foot-10 170-pound catcher with an athletic frame and build. He did a solid job defensively behind the plate, showing adequate skills blocking and receiving. Throwing to second he displayed a short arm action from an H ¾ arm slot with accuracy and carry. He used fluid footwork and a quick exchange. Offensively he uses an athletic stance with a smooth load, a short stride, and an ok lower half. He attacks the baseball with fast speed and a level swing, which produces line drives consistently. Overall Grace is a solid left-handed hitting catcher with enough athleticism to play a corner infield or outfield position.
Preston Pope, RHP, Nashville HS; He has shown advanced pitchability, he locates fastball on both sides of the plate and a has a feel for curveball and changeup. Highly competitive
Quinn Cherry, OF/CIF Harrison HS: Physical player with an advanced feel for the barrel, one of the more advanced hitters in the event.
Cameron Pugh, MIF, Greenwood HS: A solid defender at second base as he plays through the baseball, with normal exchange and accurate arm.
Sam Box, MIF, Providence Academy: Versatile Athlete with advanced defensive skills, Sub 7.0 runner in the 60.
Underclassmen
2018 Parker Edwards RHP Alma HS
Edwards is a 6-foot-1 170-pound right-hander with an athletic frame and build. He pitches from a H ¾ arm slot with a short quick arm action. He maintains balance and rhythm through his repeatable delivery, which allows him to throw strikes on a consistent basis. His fastball works 81-83 mph up to 84 mph. He compliments his fastball with a sharp curveball with late action thrown 70-71 mph for strikes. He also has shown the ability to locate his change up thrown 69-71 mph with arm side run. Overall Edwards is a solid athlete with an advanced feel for a breaking ball.
