All State Games Roster Preview: PBR Graphite

The All-State Games are start Saturday, October 22nd and 23rd at Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University. This event will feature players competing on 6 different teams. Players were invited to compete in this event from all corners of the state. We are excited about the talent pool of players this premiere event has drawn.
Team Graphite is a veteran roster with the majority of the roster being 2017’s grad with some 2020’s sprinkled in to give them some youthful enthusiasm.
Unsigned Senior
Haven Hunter, OF, Lonoke High School
Hunter is a 5-foot-10 160-pound outfielder with an athletic frame and build. He runs a 6.68 in the 60. He shows solid defensive instincts, he plays through the baseball with fluid footwork. He uses an average exchange and an accurate arm that throws the ball 83 mph from the outfield. Offensively he uses a rotational slight uphill swing to produce exit velocity up to 85 mph. Overall Hunter is an above average athlete with solid defensive instincts, offensively he has bat speed, will just need to refine his skill set.
Mckinley Williams, C/OF, Sheridan High School
Williams has a large frame and physical build at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds. Williams impresses with his offensive ability. He starts from an athletic stance with a load and leg kick. He attacks the baseball with fast bat speed and an uphill swing His top exit velocity has been 92 mph. Defensively he is a versatile player, that has competed at multiple positions, he has shown the adequate ability behind the plate, in the outfield and at 1st base. He throws form a ¾ arm slot with a short arm action. Overall Williams is an advanced athlete with above average offensive skill set
Blake McCutchen, MIF, Cabot High School
McCutchen is a 5-foot-11 165-pound middle infielder with an athletic frame and build. He ran a 6.75 in the 60. Defensively he plays through the baseball with fluid actions. He throws the ball from a H 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm action. He throws the baseball 80 mph across the infield. Offensively he starts from a slightly open stance with a small leg lift. He uses rushed rhythm and attacks the baseball with a line drive swing. He produces exit velocity up to 90 mph. Overall McCutchen is an advanced defender with above athleticism.
Caleb Horton, INF/OF Lonoke HS
Horton is a 5-foot-9 140-pound middle infielder with an athletic frame and build. He plays through the baseball with rushed footwork and solid actions. He uses a normal exchange with short arm action from a H ¾ arm slot. He throws the baseball accurately across the infield. Offensivley he starts from an athletic stance with a simple load and stride. He attacks the baseball with a slight uphill swing with rotation. He maintains balance through out contact. Overall Horton is solid player that competes at a high level.
