8/10/13 - Most pitchers had already thrown during the week, but RHP Scott Blewett (Baker HS, NY) got his first outing today. He stands at 6-foot-6, 220 pounds, but it’s a lean frame and well proportioned. He has an easy, athletic delivery that is simple for someone of his size. His fastball was 87-91 mph and he mixed in a very good curveball at 76-78 with good bite and depth. He also showed quick feet and picked a runner off.
