8/9/15 Bolander sat 79-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot registering five strikeouts over his three innings of work. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder showed above average feel for his 71 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a 72 mph changeup that has late cutting action. Bolander ran a 7.89 60-yard dash and showcased capable defensive actions at third base with a 74 mph arm across the diamond. The right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and utilizes a leg lift stride to initiate his swing resulting in a bat exit velocity of 84 mph.
3/30/15 Bolander tossed a 5-inning, one hit shutout sitting 78-79 while topping at 81 mph out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Bolander's71 mph curveball showed solid 2-plane break at times. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder has the frame, and ease of delivery that projects for added velocity, however it has not arrived. Bolander sat at similar velocities 12 months ago as a sophomore.

8/10/14 Bolander was named Co-MVP of the Black Team following his five innings of work on the mound over two days of game actions. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound righty sat 81-83 from a high 3/4 arm slot giving up just one run on two hits while striking out four. Bolander also commanded a 71 mph curveball with tight 11/5 rotation and a 70 mph changeup thrown at fastball arm speed. The junior has sound, repeatable mechanics and a frame that projects for velocity gains in the coming years.
4/14/14 Bolander sat 78-79 touching 80 mph from a high 3/4 arm slot. The sophomore displayed repeatable mechanics with the potential to add significant velocity in the coming years. Bolander is athletic and has very quick feet and a solid pick-off move. He has a good feel for his 70 mph 11/5 breaking curveball and was consistently down in the zone the entire game. He did not utilize a change up and will need to develop one in order to continue to progress as a prospect.
