He then took a clean round of BP where he sprayed line drives to all parts of the field, with his hardest batted ball of the day coming off at 83.4 mph. During his ‘pen, Magli featured a simple delivery and paired with a shorter arm path into a lower ¾ slot. His fastball sat in the mid-70s, while topping out at 78.1 mph. Both of his breaking balls featured some upside spin metrics, while his changeup played with some fade to the armside.
