5.17.17: Athletic frame with quick twitch.  Shows nice rhythm at the plate. Level bat path with quick bat speed and quick hands. Gap-to-gap type hitter that will run a few out. Smooth actions with arm strength across the diamond. Active feet in the infield with quick release. Let ball get deep at times.  Overall very good athleticism bright future.

3.19.16:  Cook is an athletic infielder with good footwork at shortstop. He has good range and takes good angles to the ball. He has average hands and a good exchange to go with an above average arm. At the plate, Cook hits from the right side from an athletic stance with a leg kick stride and a short load back. He has a good lower half and maintains balance throughout his swing. He works uphill with fast hands and he gets good extension through the baseball. Cook has a pull approach with gap power to his pull side.
