Senior Zack Hess (Louisiana State) threw a complete game with 10 strikeouts.

Junior Noah Cook (VMI) hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh.

No. 15 Bishop O’Connell 4, No. 9 Paul VI 3
Junior Will Liverpool (West Virginia) picked up the win with five strikeouts. Paul VI senior Jack Cunningham (Boston College) had nine strikeouts. Senior Myles Hudzick (Duke) hit a two-run home run for the Knights.

No. 13 Hickory 15, Norview 3
Senior Cody Schneider (Radford) was 2-3 with a lead-off homerun in the first inning and an RBI double in the third. Brenden McQueeney was 2-2 and Matthew McCreight was the winning pitcher.

No. 22 Potomac Falls 1, Broad Run 0
Senior Garrett Lutkins (High Point) threw a shutout in the win.

Senior Patrick Hartmann had a walk-off single in the win.

No. 25 Highland School 14, Grace Christian 1
Freshman Luke Burner got his first varsity win on the mound. Junior third baseman Danny Singleton was 2-2 with a triple, two runs, and 2 RBI. Junior Jacob Zoller was 2-2 with a double, two runs, and two RBI.

Junior righty Timmy Stephan threw six innings in his fifth win, allowing 1 hit with four strikeouts. Senior Shane Buss (Juniata) struck out the side in the seventh for the save.

Junior Danny Singleton picked up his fifth win with five innings of two-hit ball and six strikeouts. Timmy Stephan was 5-5 with two doubles, two runs, three RBIs, and a stolen base. Jacob Zoller was 3-4 with a walk, double, two runs, and an RBI. Junior Josh Pittman was 3-5 with a double, three runs, and an RBI.

Covenant School 5, Fishburne Military 4
Junior Jake Haney (William & Mary) earned the win in relief of fellow junior Will Moore (William & Mary). They combined to allow just five hits while striking out nine. Matt Shobe (Bucknell) and Trent Miller had 2 hits each. Donavan Jackson and Luke Burton each had a hit and Sam Lepage had three walks and three stolen bases.

Senior Jared DiCesare (George Mason) threw a three-hit shutout with ten strikeouts, while going 2-3 at the plate. Junior Christian Pitura went 2-3 with two runs and an RBI. Senior Jared Enders went 2-3 with a run and two RBI and senior Ryan Krueger was 2-3 with a run scored.

Senior Khalil Lee (Liberty) threw a two-hit shutout with eleven strikeouts and no walks. The Huskies got two hits each from Teddy Reddington, Brett Briglia, and Justin Taylor.

Menchville 6, Warwick 1
Senior Jaret West threw a complete game with eight strikeouts. Ricky Marstellar had two hits and two RBIs. Ryan Webster had three hits and Colin Estes two hits, two runs, and an RBI.

Mountain View 10, Stafford 0
Senior Alex Smith (Naval Academy) had 2 home runs and Nathan Neff (Concord) added a 3-run triple. Bob Grzymkowski had an RBI single and an RBI double. Junior Justin Pearson threw a three-hit shutout with 5 strikeouts.

Ryan Cloude threw five scoreless innings with three strikeouts. Corey Willis was 1-3 with a run, a double, and two RBI.

Coby Sale was 2-3 with a home run and three RBIs. Jake Gerkin had a double, two stolen bases and an RBI. Bodhie Long was 1-2 with two runs and a double and James Tierney was 2-3 with a run and two RBIs.
