Willson is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and room to add more. He is a switch hitter but only hit from the left side in the game. Walked and was hit by a pitch in two of his at-bats, the one in the video was a deep drive that was caught up against the fence and was about 2 feet away from being a home run. Very comfortable with the strike zone and likes to work deep counts and have long at-bats. Has a quick bat with power present and more to come. Speed on is a tool, long strider who glides, also gets good jumps on the bases and has a knack for advancing. Defensively at third, fields with a good wide base and softer hands. Works through the ball to a quick clean exchange, short loose arm action, showed average strength on the day but wasn't tested to make a hard throw. Has good quickness and the speed and athleticism to play short.

Willson is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and some projection left to it. Defensively, played third base in the game, showed good first step quickness, above average hands with a smooth exchange and rhythm fielding the ball. Arm strength is average to above average. He looked really good on balls at him and to his left, the only play where he struggled some was a backhander that he fielded fine but didn't drive off his back leg into the throw and sailed it a bit. Showed some speed and quickness tracking down a couple of foul pops, including one that was way up the line in leftfield. At the plate, he is a switch hitter but hit from the left side in all of his at-bats in the game. Slightly open balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, short smooth load back, quiet simple set-up. Hips rotate completely with violence and he has good balance in his lower half. Very short and quick to the ball, slightly uphill swing path with some extension through the ball. Line drive set-up with the ability to generate some power in the gaps or to pull side and a chance to grow into more as he continues to get stronger.
