It is with great pleasure we give you our first installment of the updated VA/DC Class of 2023 Rankings. The spring and summer proved valuable for many as we see plenty of movement across the board as well as expanding closer to 200 rated players that we have come across in the commonwealth.
As we unveil our Top 100 today, we would like to highlight our new #1 in the 2023 class. Alabama commit and Madison High School 1B/RHP Bryce Eldridge moves into the top spot after a monster spring and summer. Moving up six spots to #2 is Colgan HS RHP/OF Brett Renfrow. Renfrow, a Virginia Tech commit and former Prep Baseball Junior Future Games alum, has added physicality to an already strong frame and it has continued to show in between the lines.
Also, jumping more than fifty spots into the Top 10 is 2021 Future Games alum and recent Wake Forest commit Liam Willson (Herndon). Willson settles in at #9 after a standout performance at the 2021 Future Games.
*We would like to note that the omission of Miami commit TayShaun Walton is due to TayShaun recently enrolling at IMG Academy in Florida. He will be ranked in the PBR Florida Class of 2023 Rankings*
