Renfrow is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound large human being. Very strong lower half and maturity to the frame. At the plate Renfrow did not have much to show for some of the loud contact he produced, but he showed his high end strength and power. Got out front in an early at bat and muscled it to deep center field and later on did a nice job pulling the hands in and barreling the pitch to deep center field again. The swing got a little longer early in a few counts, but made some nice adjustments getting back on time and getting the barrel out front. Hits against a firm front side with hands inside and real power to all fields. Later on Renfrow jumped on the mound where he was 85-88 mph on a cold night and threw a 72-73 mph breaking ball that backed up out of the hand. Threw a couple of changeups in warmups that had nice late fade and solid feel for the pitch. It is a short arm action and throws from a higher slot. Leverages the fastball creating downhill plane on the pitch.

Renfrow is a Virginia Tech commit. Big physical 6-2 frame with power present at the plate. On the mound in relief, sat 89-92, touching 93 once. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a very long loose quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Creates angle and gets some boring action on his fastball. Throws a sharp hard power 12/6 curveball with good armspeed.

Renfrow is a Virginia Tech commit and is 5-11 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and room to add more as he continues to grow and develop. Hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance. Short leg kick stride on line and quiet hands in a short smooth load. Hips fire with violence. Short and very quick to ball, strong at contact with extension through the ball. Slightly uphill line drive swing with gap power present to all fields right now with a lot more to come in the future. Showed some feel for the barrel in his three at-bats. In the outfield, has plenty of arm strength to play any spot, played shallow and got beat deep twice, but both balls were hammered.

The last time I saw Renfrow was the summer of 2019 at the Junior Future Games and he has really filled out. Strong back, chest, and shoulders with projection still left. At the plate the hands are loose and load in rhythm. Renfrow is short to contact and stays inside well. Flew out to right field in his first at bat and was just a shade early on an outside fastball. In his second at bat Renfrow barreled up a line drive right at the second baseman. Low swing and miss rate with strength in the frame and all field power potential in the swing.
