It is with great excitement that we release to you today, our latest update to the Va/DC Class of 2023 rankings with our Top 25 release. Following today's Top 25 release, we will unveil the Top 50 on Tuesday, Top 100 on Wednesday, and full Top 200 on Thursday.
Staying at #1 is Alabama commit Bryce Eldridge. The two-way potential is real, as Eldridge has been up to 94 in front of our staff. At the plate Eldridge has shown present power to all fields.
It’s never too early to watch potential ‘23 #MLBDraft guys and this one is a no doubter. #RollTide commit Bryce Eldridge has some of the easiest power you will see. Sprayed ?‘s all over the field, including 4 of last 6 swings. @PBRVirginiaDC @ShooterHunt #PBRIsThere pic.twitter.com/GgAyd3HBUZ

Checking in at #3 is the Virginia Tech commit, Brett Renfrow. Renfrow had a standout day at the plate at the Mid-Atlantic Procase. The 2019 Junior Future Games alum may have the most polished hit tool in the state.
‘23 Brett Renfrow (@ColganBaseball)#Hokies commit goes BIG FLY on this inside FB. Crushes this ball out to LF w a 96 EV.@PBRVirginiaDC @PBRMaryland @ksallday19 @JNaill8#PBRBombSquad #PBRMidAtlProcase pic.twitter.com/9ys4x9OFxB

Making a huge jump into the Top 5 is Colonial Forge two-way star, Zyhir Hope. Hope is arguably the best uncommitted 2023 in the country. The tools that Hope possesses could very possibly lead him into serious draft consideration in the 2023 draft.
After jumping on the bump sitting 85-89 and punching the side, ‘23 Zyhir Hope takes this one out of CF to lead off the T7 to make it 7-1 @ForgeBaseballCF .

West Virginia commit John "JJ" Glasscock holds at #6 in the most recent 2023 VA/DC update. The stuff is undeniable. He pitches with some flare and a little bit of an edge. When he is on, he is fun to watch. 2020 Future Games alum.
‘23 JJ Glasscock (@FluvannaB) #WVU commit. Some uncomfortable swings & AB’s today. Breaking balls have been filthy. FB has gotten whiffs in upper half.

Moving up two spots to #7 is Heath Andrews. The 2020 Future Games alum and NC State commit was up to 93 this summer at PBR 17U National Championship. Andrews dominated with the 79-82 mph slider and showed command of the secondary offering.
Been a while since I’ve seen the #PBRFG20 alum ‘23 Heath Andrews (#Pack9 recruit). He hasn’t disappointed.

A new face to the VA/DC 2023 class is Wake Forest commit, Cameron Nelson. Nelson joins a few other Maryland high school players at Pro 5 Academy in Fredericksburg. Nelson was up to 91 in front of our Maryland staff last spring and showcased his offensive ability in a big way.
