Kansas recruit. Groshans is currently ranked
No. 10 in Texas and No. 52 Overall, and his overall tools are some of the best in Texas, especially in the junior class. He has a projectable, athletic 6-foot-4, 170-pound frame, solid arm strength that should allow him to stay on the left side of the infield for years to come, and a loose, athletic swing with premium power. In his first at-bat, Groshans his a mile-high fly ball to left field that was in the air for 6-plus seconds. He scored his only knock of the game in his fourth at-bat when he singled sharply to left field.

11.05.16 - 6-foot-4, 190-pound frame. The slick fielding shortstop has athletic range with long strides, clean arm action with good carry, solid glove action and exchange. The right handed, middle-of-the-order hitter, has good rhythm, advanced bat speed, and solid barrel awareness. He crushed a couple of balls into a stiff breeze on sunday, one for a double, the other was caught in left field. Most recently we saw Groshans launch a home run to left field on an inside fastball thrown 90 mph.
