3B had one of the biggest events of anyone in attendance and ended up being the runner up for MVP. Every ball he hit was barreled and jumped off the bat and he collected 3 hits, including a double, a home run to LCF and a grand slam to RF. 6-2, 195-pounder features prototypical corner IF size, featuring well-proportioned present strength, some physical projection. Offensively, hits w/ a crouched, slightly closed stance w/ short hand rhythm into shift of weight, toe tap and proper load. Generates elite bat speed through the zone. Consistent, repeatable swing, generates easy bat speed. Barrel feel w/ consistent hard contact. Ball makes a different sounds off of his barrel, explodes through it. Was a presence in the box all week. Shows power to all fields. Combination of high level hit tool and power tool. Defensively, shows soft hands w/ range to both sides and easy arm strength across the diamond. Stood out with the glove showing ability to make late adjustments to hops. True 3B.

6-foot-1, 195-pound, RHH shows intriguing mix of power and knack for contact, was coming off of an injury, so typically is a better runner than the time he showed on this day. Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, well-proportioned build. Projectable. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ quiet hands into short shift of weight, stride and load. Generates above average bat speed through the zone. Advanced offensive prospect, projects to hit for average and power. Worked consistent quality at bats on this day. Showed barrel feel while swinging and missing just once on nine swings. Showed pull power in BP, projects for all fields power as frame matures. Projectable average runner. Defensively, moves well w/ soft hands, easy projectable arm strength. Profiles as an above average defender at 3B to go with advanced bat.
