HUNTER LAUTZENHEISER / OF / 1B / STATION CAMP, TN / 2020

Home-1st: 4.63, Position Velocity:  OF-86, Exit Velocity: 94
6-foot-1, 195-pound, LHH shows premium bat speed and just punishes the baseball to go with a solid all-around profile.  Medium, sturdy profile w/ well-proportioned present strength throughout, close to mature frame.  Offensively, hits w/ a very slightly open, crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into toe turn to short stride and proper load.  Generates premium bat speed through the zone w/ natural loft.  Pull oriented approach, flashes ability to stay back and hammer the ball the other way.  Had one of the more impressive BP’s of the day, showcasing consistent hard contact w/ the baseball jumping off the barrel.  Makes a different sound off his bat.  Lot of power, projectable plus power.  Learning how to get to it consistently.  Projectable average runner, moves well for size.  In the OF, covers ground w/ easy arm strength, short release.  Likely projects to RF as frame continues maturing, but profiles as a premium defender out there.
