1/13/18 - 6-foot, 185-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Low, deep hand position in load phase of the swing minimizes ability to create barrel whip. Showcased a line-drive approach with an ability to use all fields and registered a bat exit velocity of 79 mph. Displayed pop times of 2.26-2.40 on throws of 71 mph from the crouch. Hitch in throwing motion slows release in spite of solid carry and arm strength. Ran an 8.07 60-yard dash.

6/14/17 6-foot, 185-pound right-handed hitter. Hits from a slightly open stance and incorporates a toe-tap stride. Flat barrel path that comes out of zone early with bottom hand pulling toward front hip. Would benefit from increased use of lower half in swing, as backside is currently a partial turn with limited drive. Posted 80 mph exit velocity and an 8.10 60-yard dash. Posted workout pop times of 2.32-2.40, which will improve when he learns to get his feet moving earlier to sync up with when he receives the pitch.

1/28/17 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Repeated swing well and made consistent hard contact when he got his foot down on time. Showcased pop times of 2.28-2.35 on throws of 71 mph from the crouch with accurate, straight line carry. 

11/19/16 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. A deep load into an arm-bar leads to some length in his swing but Murry displayed the ability to get to the hitting zone on time regularly with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. The sophomore will need additional work to improve his transition and footwork defensively. Murry showcased pop times of 2.45-2.55 on throws of 68 mph from the crouch.
