A lean and broad shouldered 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame with lots or room to continue to add size and strength. The left-handed pitcher sat 78-82 mph utilizing a moderate arm circle coupled with a long, high ¾ arm-stroke forward. Demonstrated feel for spin on a late-breaking 1/7, 64-65 mph curveball, thrown for mostly strikes.
6/04/19
The primary first baseman featured a long 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame with room to fill out. The left-handed hitter starts from a wide, straight up stance with hands high above the shoulder. A short lift-and-replace stride coupled with weight shift forward creates a flat bat-path upon impact. Found consistent barrels with a repeatable swing yielding 86 mph bat-exit velocities while hitting into a stiff front-side. Displayed long actions around the bag at first with a soft glove hand. Played low to the ground with present range to the glove-side. Registered a 7.62 60-yard dash.

A lean and projectable 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame with some strength and room to add more. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a moderate leg kick before gliding way down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action is long, loose, and fluid in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with ease. Fastball keeps its plane at 75-77 mph, mostly strikes. Slider has 2/8 shape with some late depth at 60-61 mph, all strikes. Changeup hits 68-69 mph with occasional sink.
2/03/19
A 6-foot-3, 195-pound lean frame with long limbs and room to add more size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a wide, even, and back leg set-up with slightly rhythm in his hands. Uses a short load and stride before launching his hands on an efficient and slightly uphill path with big extension. In BP, shows a middle to pull and flat approach with bat speed and pop, nearly all barrels, 87 exit velo. Runs a 7.44 60. Defensively, shows confident actions with above average hands and quick feet. Throws with a long arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot. Shows well above average accuracy with high end arm strength at 84 mph on double play turns.
10/29/2016 A 6-foot-3, 170-pound frame with long legs, short torso, and lots room to add size and strength. Works with a controlled tempo, arm so some quickness, 3/4 slot, throws from underneath and inside the baseball. Fastball shows some downhill life flashing sink and run, 78-80 mph and touches 81 mph. Changeup sits 68-73 mph, some sink. Though the release point was inconstant, Morrison showed the ability to get swings and misses on the fastball, giving up six free bases, but striking out six as well in two innings.
