Demonstrated advanced feel of a long and lean 6-foot, 175-pound frame with projectability and athleticism. The right-handed hitter begins in an open stance utilizing a short toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Solid separation and advanced bat-speed propelled the barrel through a slightly uphill path creating backspin deep to the pull side. An easy, repeatable swing with minimal effort suggests there is room to add onto an already solid 89 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Recorded a 6.96 60-yard dash showing comfortability in his current frame. The primary middle infielder displayed smooth, athletic actions during defensive evaluations with advanced range to both sides of the field. Soft hands and feet that arrived on time and played through the baseball set up a fluid 82 mph arm-strength across the infield out of a high ¾ arm-slot. Featured comfortability on the slow-roller play with a body and measurables that point to any of the three infield spots at the next level.

An athletic 6-foot, 175-pound frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from a controlled and deliberate delivery with rhythm and a high, coiling, leg kick before striding to the dish and finishing to the first base side. Arm action has moderat length in the back with a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball sits 82-83 mph with consistent heavy cut, mostly strikes. Slider is still developing, spinning out at times at 65 mph. In the game, Escarcega punched out three of the five batters he faced.
