8/5/17 Pacetti continues to get better each time we’ve seen him. Velocity continues to rise, sitting 82-84 mph on this day. With his frame and feel for all three offerings he profiles as a starter at the next level. Positioned himself as one of the top southpaw the state's 2019 class has to offer.
6/6/17 A two-way prospect in the 2019 class. Shows abilities that make him attractive as a position player and a pitcher, however he profiles more as a pitcher at this stage. Pacetti has a very solid frame and can really pitch. Velocity is 80-82 mph but there is more to come. Works off his fastball that has arm side run. Showed advanced feel for both his breaking ball and changeup. Breaking ball was very sharp on a 1/7 plane. Used it both as a set-up and put away pitch. Changeup has late sinking action to it at 74-75 mph. A left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Loading sequence is fluid prior to launch. Strong kid that takes a slightly downhill path to the baseball. Ball comes off his bat very well when he finds the barrel. Middle of the lineup type guy. A well-above average athlete for the first base position. Footwork is clean and he showed feel around the bag. Present glove skills are well-above average. Projects as a well above average defender at the next level. 60-yard dash: 7.3 Infield Velocity: 78 Exit Velocity: 90
7/26/16 6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic frame. Another talented southpaw from Moeller that really impressed with his pitchability. Has quickness to his arm with short arm action as his fastball sat 76-79 mph. Was able to work in and out, showing the ability to run and cut the pitch. Showed one of the better breaking balls of the day with good depth and sharp break. Had excellent command of his changeup that had late run and sink. Can really pitch and if velocity continues to come with maturity he has a chance to be very good.
