2/10/19 A large number of players improved their stock at the event but none more than UNC Charlotte commit Dom Pilolli. The OF out of Canfield HS put together one of the more impressive stat lines you will see at a showcase; running a 6.62, tossing it 93 mph from the outfield and topping out at 102 mph exit velocity off the tee. What makes these numbers even more impressive is there is very little effort to his actions. Arm is easy in the outfield and fluid is loose, whippy at the plate. Pilolli is also a very young 2019, that still may even have more in the tank. Very intriguing prospect that could make his way into draft consideration if he can show a similar skill set in game that he did this past weekend.
6/5/18 Another very toolsy prospect whose stock continues to rise. Defensively he projects as an above average defender at all three spots with qualities that could profile him in centerfield. At the plate he has a very fast bat with more strength than frame would suggest. Need to see more of him in game but he stands out in a showcase setting. Should be a high follow for college coaches in the ‘19 class. 60-yard dash: 6.67 Outfield Velocity: 85 Exit Velocity: 91
1/27/18
A fluid athlete with impressive tools. A well above average runner that showed off 89 mph arm strength from the outfield and a 93 mph exit velocity. A L/L guy who has a true center-fielder look to him and a versatile bat that can play a variety of roles inside an offense.
Outfield Velocity: 89
Exit Velocity: 93
7/5/17 A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is fluid and athletic. Plane is flat and bat gets on path early. Bat has impressive whip through contact. Swing is efficient and he consistent produced line drives. Much more juice to come. Looks the part in the outfield. Moves with fluidity and athleticism. Fields through with confidence. Transitions into his throws with ease. A talented overall prospect to look out for. Home-1st: 4.28 Outfield Velocity: 85 Exit Velocity: 86
