6-foot, 170-pound prospect. Good delivery. Repeats well with downward tilt plane. Upper 3/4 moderate arm slot. Gets good lower body torque. Fastball shows some late life in zone, ranging 83-86 mph (showed 86-89 mph at the MWFG a few days later). Shows feel for downward tilt curveball with some depth (72-75 mph). Changeup shows some decent arm action. As a left-handed hitter, he uses a wide base. Makes contact well but needs to enhance lower half torque. Registered a 7.18 60-yard time. Displays good infield skills with arm strength (83 mph). Likely best suited for third base or offensive second baseman.
6/04/12 6-foot, 170-pound prospect with athletic build. Projects as a pitcher at the next level. Displays projectable arm. Has quick arm speed through 3/4 arm slot with good balance in delivery. Finishes well. Aggressive with fastball, which ranges 83-85 mph with some late run action. Shows some feel for curve with good ones showing some downward spin at 71-73 mph. Needs to master consistent command of off-speed pitches. Runs 7.26 60 yard sprint. Has good hands but needs work on footwork. Left-handed hitter that sets up in upright stance and shows bat speed into zone with good techniques.
