McCarroll had an impressive performance at the Fall 2019 Top Prospect Games. The 2021 RHP displayed a repeatable low effort delivery and a projectable arm. FB has late downward tilt. Impressive in live game action living down in the zone. FB peaked at 80 MPH. CB range was 66-68 MPH with late action and feel for a CH at 73-74 MPH. The 2021 graduate has a projectable frame and is a must follow as he continues to develop.

Stakes a short stride towards the pitcher before attacking the baseball. Gets good use of the lower half and full extension after the point of contact. Top exit velocity was 75 MPH. Defensively- as a 1B, aggressive to the baseball. Fields the ball in the center of his body. ABove average funnel actions. Lone release on throws across the infield. Tp throwing velocity was 75 MPH. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery and projectable arm. Uses an over the head start to his delivery, drives downhill from a high knee lift and balanced backside. Low effort delivery. Showed command of a three pitch mix. FB peaked at 75 MPH, CB has a sharp late break and ranged from 64-66 MPH, feel for a CH at 69-70 MPH. The 2021 graduate has tons of upside.
