Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance and slight bend in the knees. Quick direct path to the hitting zone. Hard contact to the middle part of the field. Defensively- Ventura worked out as an infielder. Moves well laterally from the hot corner. Fields the baseball close to his body. Low effort throwing actions from a mid ¾ arm slot. On the mound- Ventura displayed a repeatable delivery. Works off a balanced backside and has a slight drop and drive delivery. Worked with a two pitch mix with the FB peaking at 74 MPH and CB 65-66 MPH.
