A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Physical: 6-foot-3, 210 pounds; tall, strong build. Pitching: Glove side setup with a methodical, repeatable delivery; balanced finish on a soft front side with a minimal effort release. Clean, smooth moderate length arm action, standard 3/4 arm slot. FB: Peak velo of 77 MPH, while sitting 73-77 MPH. 1:45-2 o'clock spin axis that results in some sink. CB: 59-63 MPH. 10-4 rotation with some depth and tight horizontal action. KN: 60-64 MPH. Showed good command with pitch.

Snyder stands 6-foot-4, 225 pounds w/ a thick-strong lower half, optimal size from the mound. His mechanics are compact and fluid, arm-swing has no limitations, slightly opens up his front-side early prior to release. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a FB that peaked 78 mph. Shows feel for his CH (70-71) keeping his FB handspeed. CB had 11/6 loose shape, would benefit from more handspeed. This offseason is a big one for the 2021 righty, all the tools/size are there to see major velo gains which will make all his pitches sharper.
