Session three of four took place Sunday morning under ideal conditions at the Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex in Cortland, NY. Full stat release and some quick hit top performers below:

Anthony Lapine SS / RHP / Liverpool, NY / 2021 Short, flat path approach that works foul line to foul line. Up to 80 MPH across the infield and worked 79-80 MPH on the mound with a 68-69 MPH CB.

 

 

Logan Haskell SS / 2B / Susquehanna Valley , NY / 2021 Scrappy MIF with a high end offensive projection. Ran a 6.93 which could also open some doors for him positionally the OF. Handles the bat with confidence.

 

 

Adam Marsh 1B / OF / Liverpool, NY / 2021 Sweeping swing path through the zone with some juice to the middle of the field. Athletic 1B/OF dual threat; improved 60 down to 7.14 and consistent with exit velocity over all 3 events this year at 88 MPH. Frame continuing to fill out.

 

 

Aidan Clatur 2B / RHP / Warwick Valley, NY / 2021 Short, compact swing path with a high finish and the ability to drive the ball; showed plenty of arm across the diamond at 82 MPH. Listed primary as 2B but could project at 3B.

 

 

Frankie DeMaro SS / RHP / John S Burke Catholic , NY / 2021 Athletic build with a loose approach in the box; showed some whippiness with the bat producing line drive results. 80 MPH across the infield and worked 79-82 from the mound. Solid all-around athlete.

 

 

Gunnar Grethen-McLaughlin C / RHP / Ichabod Crane, NY / 2022 Strudy build RHH who uses an open setup; explodes through the zone with developing power. Sub 2.10 pop times during the workout.

 

 

Nick Jessen LHP / 1B / West Genesee , NY / 2021 Long and lean LHP at 6-foot-1 170 pounds with a clean arm action that works through a low 3/4 slot. Pitches at 77-79 MPH, touching 80 MPH with late action/depth to breaking ball that has some slider feel to it. High ceiling on the mound.

 

 

Chris McKeon RHP / 1B / Mahopac , NY / 2022 Attacks the zone with command and feel for secondary stuff. Mostly 77-79 this weekend but was 80-82 at NYS Games back in June. Slider works laterally at 71-74 MPH. Frame to dream on at 6-foot-2 165 pounds.
