Physical: Sturdy, physical 5-foot-11, 195-pound frame with plenty of athleticism in the movements as well. 6.97 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance with noticeable physicality in the box as the hands move with slight rhythm above the shoulder. Utilized a repeatable lift and replace stride to initiate a short and quick, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Hands played with confidence through the ball getting to extension with ease creating a gap to gap approach at the plate. Hit into a stiff and adjustable front side while repeatedly generating quality swings at the dish, evidenced by a top bat exit velocity of 96 mph per Trackman Baseball. Created natural lift to the pull-side gap and stayed on the away pitch well allowing for backspin to the RCF gap with authority. Recorded a max distance of 340 feet with a 50% hard hit percentage during batting practice per Blast Motion.
Defensively: The primary outfielder displayed lots to like during a standout defensive session. Arrived to the spot on time with downhill momentum while consistently staying behind the ball in the air. Used advanced straight line speed (6.97 runner) to cut off balls in the gap in game action showing off natural instincts and a soft glove hand at the catch point. Showcased adequate transfers and catch & throw skills allowing for accurate throws from his position out of a loose, high ¾ slot. Arm strength and footspeed should allow a spot at any two of the three OF positions at the next level. OF - 85 mph
