UMBC recruit. Maceda possesses a strong and athletic build at 6-foot, 170-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.66 seconds, one of the tops at the event. Recorded an exit velo of 87 MPH. Begins at the plate in a slightly open stance with his weight shifted onto his backside. Hands start just above shoulder height. Creates pre-pitch rhythm. Utilizes a small stride with a toe-tap. Hands move directly backwards during his load. Displayed easy bat speed. Consistently strong contact throughout his round, spraying line drives to all fields. Maintains rhythm throughout. Took defensive reps in the outfield, recording a positional velo of 74 MPH. Fields the ball under control and is able to create momentum towards his target. Has a loose arm action and high frontside on his throws to the plate.

Starts at the plate in an open stance. Knees are slightly inverted. Hands begin above shoulder height, away from the body. Moves hands directly backwards during his load while creating pre-pitch rhythm. Small, compact leg kick. Twitchy actions at the plate. Quick hands, creates line drives to all fields. Present bat speed. Hands stay inside the ball. Defensively, took reps in the outfield. Recorded a top velo of 81 MPH on his throws. Stays low and athletic in his approach to the ball. Gathered himself with a shuffle and a crow hop before making strong throws.
