ELIJAH DICKERSON OF / RANCOCAS VALLEY, NJ / 2019Rankings StateRank: 41 / POS: 6
La Salle recruit 2019 Elijah Dickerson (Rancocas Valley HS, NJ) committed to the Explorers shortly after the event ended, and the Philadelphia school got a hidden gem out of the South Jersey area. Dickerson possesses the rare ability to hit for power into the gaps and run. Dickerson is a broad shouldered left handed hitter and starts in a tall, opened stance with hands in line with back shoulder. Uses a foot stride to start swing process as hands load straight back with some rhythm. Explosive, effortless swing with some lift in his finish – seemed like the ball was jumping off his bat every time he made contact with it. Showcased a strong arm at 85 MPH from the outfield as well with backspin and carry. Big time pick up for La Salle. |
