North Carolina State commit. Athletic, projectable build at 6 feet 1, 180 pounds. Thin frame that should be able to handle strength in the coming years. Athletic delivery with good tempo, deception and a strong arm action. Seems to throw out of his sleeve as the ball works back inside his elbow, near his ear. Arm works to a quick ¾ slot. Fastball has heavy life to it, running to the arm side, in the zone at 88-89. Seems to jump out of his hand and should present problems for hitters looking for the barrel. Paired with the fastball is a potential out-pitch in the slider. Sharp with big action, the slider can sweep through the zone or work with slight tilt. Maintains hand speed and aggressiveness on the slider, sitting 72-74. Very confident with the slider throughout the pen. Change-up is the third pitch, thrown with less aggressiveness at 78-79. Average hand speed, feeling for the slot at times.
