At the plate, Kotsis is explosive off of the bat, getting his exit velocity up to 91 mph. He has an athletic set up with a bat wiggle to get to his power position. On the infield, short over the top arm slot with momentum in footwork, works through the ball, smooth and controlled, clean exchange, mostly accurate throws.

He has a 91 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced set up, controlled load into back side, no wasted movement, repeatable, mostly pull side line drives during batting practice, has power, singled to right-center gap in game action. On the infield, 79 mph positional velocity, fluid action, high three quarters release, clean transfer on time with footwork, accurate throws, feet create momentum through the catch. On the mound, Kotsis is a strike thrower and challenges hitters, mixes pitches and shows command of fastball and curveball, throws with controlled effort, over the release, in line stride down the mound, strong and durable build, fastball at 71-81 mph, works down in the zone, breaking ball has 11-to-5 shape, some with sharp action, will produce swing and miss, late break.
