9/23/18 - Wehmeier is a strong and put together 5-foot-10 190-pound right handed hitting third baseman and right handed pitcher in the 2020 Missouri class. He ran a 7.7 60 and a 4.57 home to first. At the plate, Wehmeier was impressive. He has an slightly open and athletic set up and good rhythm in his hands to go with a small leg kick, gets off of his back side well and has a flat bat path. He had good pop, especially to the pull side, hitting balls at 88 mph. On the infield, he uses his feet to work around balls, gaining ground toward first base, soft hands and a clean exchange. He has an over the top release point and throws 80 mph across the diamond with good carry. On the mound, he works down hill with an over the top release point and falls off to his glove side. He has a fastball at 80-82 mph, a good 12-6 curveball at 71-73 mph and a cutter with similar action to his fastball at 79-80 mph.
