After having his freshman season at North Iowa Area Community College in 2019 cut short due to injury, the 6-foot, 200 pound backstop committed to Dallas Baptist where he got oft to a solid start in the 2020 season, batting .271 with three home runs in 48 at-bats. His approach is to use all fields while having the intent to do damage. Behind the plate, Wrobleski shows soft hands and the ability to control the running game. He will show a plus arm, which plays in the outfield as well, with very good carry and little effort. College catchers are always in high demand around draft time, and super athletic ones who can throw, defend and have a chance to hit tend to be in short supply.
6/10/19: After having his Freshman season at North Iowa Area Community College cut short due to injury, Wrobleski has picked back up where he left off. The 6-foot, 185 pound backstop committed to Dallas Baptist University leading into his first spring, and will have four years of NCAA eligibility moving forward after being granted a medical hardship. Wrobleski showed soft hands and the ability to control the running game. A plus arm, which plays in the outfield as well, shows great carry with little effort. His approach used all fields and had the intent to do damage. His pregame BP included several towering home runs to all fields, which translates to games with two HR, one 2B and one 3B through his first 31 at-bats in a Honker uniform. Great athlete to follow in the future as he begins his career at DBU. (DeGagne)
