Uncommitted Spotlight: 18' Ryan Wrobleski, C/UTL, Eden Prairie

Prep Baseball Report Minnesota

PBR has documented the plethora of top end catching talent coming out of the 2018 recruiting class in Minnesota. Continuing that trend is Ryan Wrobleski our of Eden Prairie. The #3 ranked catcher and #18 overall ranking remains one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state of Minnesota. Wrobleski sports a premier catching frame at 6 ft., 185 lbs. with room to add. Plus athleticism is displayed behind the plate with the ability to block almost anything while being an above average receiver. The same athleticism also makes him a multidimensional player who can play infield or outfield along with his catching duties. At the plate he is one of the best in the state at swinging hard (mid-90's exit velo's) while not losing any consistency in his high level of consistent line drive contact that manifests into pull side power and even flashes of said power to the opposite field. Playing for one of the states perennial top 5 teams in Eden Prarie has seen Ryan produce in clutch situations (RBI's in all three state tournament games last spring) throughout his young career.
