6-foot-2, 190 pound physically strong athletic prospect. Showed good actions and an accurate arm from the outfield throwing 89 mph.  Atheltiec footwork, soft hands, and good flexibility at third base, threw 87 mph across the infield. Gets great separation and plus power at the plate where the ball jumps off his bat. Bat speed registered at 88 MPH.

Good athlete. Ran better than expected (7.18).  Ball came out of hand clean across diamond.  Throws were online.  Occasionally will push the ball. 79 mph across diamond. Softer hands. Throws like an infielder.

6.18.13 At 6-foot-2 and 185-pounds Eric wears a uniform well with overall body strength and will only get bigger and stronger.  A wide, square, balanced approach, bat speed and a flat bat through the zone help launch balls to gaps, with more power to come.  Minor timing issues with the load lead to inconsistency but are correctable.  Arm plays better in the outfield but is agile enough with a decent first step and actions to not hurt you at third base.  Speed is not his game but is not a clogger due to instincts and is better underway.
