Body: 6’1’’, 175 pounds. Strong, athletic, projectable frame. Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open, crouched stance at the plate. Smooth back load with some hand separation and a bigger leg kick stride. Rhythmic, fluid actions with quick bat speed through contact and a slightly uphill swing path. Stays behind the ball well, creating solid extension through and past contact with a slight recoil in the back swing. Hands stay inside the ball well with strong line drive tendencies to the middle of the field. Power: 91 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Present pop to the pull side with more projected to the gaps and alleys as the body continues to fill out. Arm: RH. OF - 83 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from an over the top slot. Defense: Fields the ball in closer to the body with soft hands and quick, active footwork. Creates solid momentum through release with clean exchanges and accurate throws that showed carry. Run: 7.46 60-yard time.
Delivery: Started off the left side of the rubber showing a methodical side rocker into a medium leg lift with deep hip coil around the backside; held direction well with a solid straight line drive down the rubber with a straight up and down finish on his pitches. Arm Action: RH. High ¾ slot with repeatability in the arm action. FB: T80 mph, 77-79 mph. Average spin rate of 1876 rpm. Better play down with an average of 17.6 inches of IVB (below-average). Has a slightly heavy feel to it, though it is mostly straight at the moment (4.7 inches of HM). CB: 67-70 mph. Average spin rate of 1559 rpm. Developing pitch with the shape there already (16 inches of HM); held the zone at a 25% clip with average command on it.
